We are a record label, aiming to provide quality music free from commercial restrictions at sensible cost pricing and create a creative recording environment for up and coming bands and musicians.

Recording, producing and distributing music and media that we like, in a way that is mutually beneficial for both artist and audience.

Build a creatively free empire, that will swallow your babies whole in a sea of cute pin badges, art installations, free form poetry readings, fanzine publications and CD packages with bright red buttons sewn on them.

A bi-annual live event, in the form of a New Year’s gig and August bank holiday open air festival, which last year took place at Colerabbey Studios, Portrush and this year plan to occur in Newcastle. We have plans to move forward in putting on more live gigs to showcase our artists talents.

Ex Libris Records is operating from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and maintains close links with fellow indie labels Gallow_Slutt Sophtware and 1:33 Records.
