Ex Libris Records is a small, independent music label based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England.

Operating from deep below ground in a Ribena encased bunker, we aim to document the music we love through releasing records with ink smudges on them, promoting live shows that feature the heavy use of fairy lights and confectionery, and various electronic splutterings from this website in the form of webcasts, videos, music and brownie recipes.

Coffee and Grilly

In the third of our themed webcasts, producer, DJ and musician Grilly joins Ex Libris in an antiques and coffee emporium in East London, for a selection of his favourite tunes and an in-depth interview.  He discusses upcoming shows for his band To The Boats..! and gives a brief lecture on the nature of Grind Metal.  Expect tracks from Napalm Death, Dildano and a rare version of the Knightmare theme tune among other gems.
